"The Adversary" Tube Overdrive

There's lots of overdrive pedals out there. Lots of them with the word "Tube" in the name. This one actually has a REAL vacuum tube in it.

Hand wired, Point-To-Point, the Adversary is the perfect companion to ANY amplifier. You can put any 12AX7, 12AU7, 12AT7, or 5751 tube in it. Every tube reacts differently. Some tubes like the JJ ECC83S are nice and balanced, going from a little drive to all out grind. The Sovtek 12AX7WA is a monster, going from grind to insane fuzz. You can try lots of different tubes here, each one will sound different, and you can customize your version of awesome.

The Adversary will run on a battery, but I guarantee your battery won't last very long. I suggest a 9V AC power supply that can output at least 200ma of current. Because of the higher current draw, it really helps to have it isolated, or on a high power branch. If you REALLY want to have some fun, crank it up to 12V. Running on 12Volts it really gives some extra boost, sparkle and shine.

Controls are Volume, Drive, and there's a Boost switch (hidden in the image)

You can order your Adversary in any color (within reason) and in two different versions. The second version moves the boost switch to a SECOND stomp button for on-the fly usage.
